Just finished my Socom 16, tried my hand at rattle can Black Multicam, cut my own m-lok slot into the stock to mount the light, Aimpoint Patrol/Stripper clip mount.
I installed the PRO on a A.R.M.S. #22 mount its too loose on the picatinny side, wanted to know if anyone is running this kind of setup and what scope ring would be strong enough for this?

Have you verified it isn't the result of your stripper clip rail?

I have moved away from arms 22 rings, given the inaccuracy that comes with the 2 piece design. I've found that you can get the dovetail on the ring to wobble with moderate pressure.

Leupold qd rings do fine for me on a sadlak mount. Not sure if it would give enough clearance for you, as the ARMS 22 rings are a bit on the high side.

I tried a similar setup using Leupold QRW rings. The stripper clip picatinny rail itself would shoot loose. It's too much weight with not enough space for positive engagement to transfer the load via the stripper clip mount interface.

You could get away with an extremely light optic like an RMR in that setup, but anything more is pushing it.

That is an awesome build, especially the paint work! I having been in the planning stages of doing a similiar build with a Scout. How do you like using the Pro? Feel like you need the cheek riser?
