how easy is it to install? how effective is the muzzle break?
or what is the best break that can mount a suppressor?

great set up i have had 2 and my next build is gonna be sporting it also, be advised you cant mount a suppressor with the brake you have to mount the vortex, the brake is basically a cut down coast guard brake and functions very well to tame muzzle rise , 1000% better than SAI crappy brake if you can use a wrench you can install it very easy

or what is the best break
Is it the best, I don't know....but with a regular GI rear aperture, and a NM front, it was a light years leap forward, sighting at any distances beyond 50 yards.
It's a nice piece of kit, don't see how any purchaser could be disappointed, nicely made and would give the future option of the various muzzle accessories available.

You have your choice of 3 muzzle devices. With one of the brakes you can mount a suppressor. The brakes are very effective.

don't have to buy the kit....particularly if you live in Kalifornia...the vortex is a no no. you can buy the 5/8 x 24 adapter from nokick.com then buy any 5/8 x 24 muzzle brake out there...even SEI's for less overall costs.

i want the vortex but in my mind if i want to cut down on the flash ill just put a can on.... my buddy has the surefire break on his hk 416 and it works great but its on a 5.56
im tired of finding everything for an AR and not much for a M1A not even a p-mag

does anyone run a can and a break?
what setup?

As I stated on a different thread just today...

You cannot expect members to re-respond to topics that have been previously discussed at length...multiple times.

You are more likely to receive response such as...
-No, they are Illegal.
-There is no such thing as a 'Silencer'.
-It's easy, all you have to do is xxxxx...

If you really want good 'poop', search out members who Have Posted in the past, and send them a polite PM !

easy to install...unscrew old...screw on new....have to shim or time by stoning. Have PWS and Battle Comp...the PWS is better on mitigating recoil. Muzzle blast is less on the Battle Comp. The Battle Comp is a good compromise between recoil mitigation and muzzle blast where as the PWS is raw and brutal.

If you just get the 5/8 x 24 adapter...you can mount many more other than smith's......

suppressor mounting is not generic....so pick a suppressor and see what brakes accept it......cart before the horse or vice versa....
