It looks like they have bought into some impressive production capabilitys.

I wish there was more info on the site about case material, primer type, jacket material (bi-metal?) BUT at that price point, one would expect economy in construction.

500 rounds for $160 of new manufacture ammo sounds like a deal as long as it is brass cased.

Does anyone have any more detailed info on this stuff?

After reading the reviews I see it IS steel cased and berdan primed.

Am I correct in my thinking here that a bullet (RUAG) with Muzzle Energy :2110 ft lbs may not have enough power to properly cycle through a magazine? Most rounds I've read about people using have the Muzzle Energy :2619 ft lbs range (Federal)...

a 20% increase from the RUAG rounds

Thanks! My main concern is if these have enough oompf to cycle through to the next round. I used to have troubles with my 10/22 until I switched to 'high velocity' rounds...which is why I asked about these. (didn't even think about comparing the specs with 30-06...)

Thanks again and I'll be posting about how these work as soon as I can...

You're right...I was given bad info. Not only that, but this guy charged my debit card not once, not twice but SEVEN times for the same invoice! It really fu**ed up my checking account too! Just found out about this this afternoon and was too late (of course) to contact them about it by phone but they did receive a scathing email from me with a promise to call first thing in the morning if they don't call me first...yes, I am pissed!

Sorry about the bad info above...I should have done a little more checking since it was one of those, "too good to be true" kinda deals...

Grrrrrrr......

I've bought name-brand ammo from them and they've always been quick with delivery and good customer service. I should have stuck with them but saw that sale and got all excited to shoot 308's for the price of 38's. I live 100 miles away from the nearest gun store so mail-order is the cheapest way for me to do it.

I'll be more careful in the future...I'm just embarrassed, especially being a newb here and all.
