I have an FN and here's that dimension from back of mag to end of grip area, plus or minus 0.010"

Close enough for state work. here's another view, without the magazine. 1st is from back of the magazine well to the outermost of the curve at the butt, make it about 0.625", like you said. 2nd is back of the magazine well to the bottom of the curve where it meets the butt plate, call it about 0.5007". This gun is a Belgian made BHP.
