LOL ...
no big review here, just show and tell, couple of new blades here
at the fortress, one picture
the top blade is the Ka-Bar 'Big Brother' honkin' fightin utility knife
9.25" blade with serrated spine, 14.25" OAL
the middle blade is your standard 7" blade, 12" OAL Ka-Bar for scale purposes marked U.S. ARMY, I really like the kydex scabbard
FYI, the Ka-Bar's come with killer sharp edges, I mean
super killer Sharp!
bottom blade I just received yesterday from Midway USA
a swiss army K-31 rifle bayonet, Model 1918 swiss army bayonet,
made by the same company that makes swiss army knives
This bayo is as new, @ $59.99 w/ free shipping
the blade is 12" long from front of hilt to end of reinforced tip,
17" OAL
beautiful worksmanship, hollow ground, steel scabbard is tight
fit, no rattle, and beautiful swiss craftsmanship too!
the bayonet weighs 1# 2 oz. all by itself, bayo is marked
'ELSENER SCHWYZ' and has the swiss army cross on the non-ring
guard extension, these are mil-surp but were never issued, probably made in the 1950's
Believe me, it is a serious piece of steel, as is the Big Boy Ka-Bar
that I purchased on Amazon, I think I paid $70 w/ free shipping
and a nice mexico leather sheath was included, it smells so good
In regards bayo's and Ka-Bar's
I LIKE EM!
