My New Colt

I've always wanted a S&W 3 inch .22 Kit Gun, but never got around to buying one.
I recently found out that Colt now offers their King Cobra in a 3 inch barrel version. With a ten shot capacity, I had to have one, Here it is. The only thing I've changed so far was to install an Elliason sight. The original Colt adjustable sight has not gotten good reviews. The True Glo front sight is great too. I wasn't sure if I would like it, but it really stands out in most all conditions. This may be the perfect kit gun!

“Kit” gun refers to the revolver being part of one’s hiking, hunting, fishing, camping gear. Tossed in backpack, tackle box, etc. Usually shorter barreled small caliber. I think. Not sure if it was ever official S&W nomenclature. It may have been as the term is often used describing certain S&W revolver models. Nice looking Colt, Ted. Hope you find time to use it.

So far Colt hasn't come out with a .22 Mag. I think it would be a great choice if they do.
The trigger on this King Cobra is excellent.
