Here's my DPMS "Kitty Kat" in 5.56 NATO.

On a L.A.R. "Grizzly-15" lower......I named it "The Bear Kat!"

My Kitty Kat is in 300 BLK for a reason- I got it for subsonic use (which in 300 BLK is ballistically equivalent to a mild .45 ACP handgun round), I just ordered a sound forwarder for it, but mostly because there's no way in hell I'd have a .223/5.56 with a 7.5" barrel- that makes no sense whatsoever! (unless one actually likes outrageous concussion/flash/blast, extreme inefficiency, and pitiable performance).

Launching 200+ grain .308 bullets at subsonic velocities using pistol powder for short range self-defense use is the reason why I bought my Kitty Kat- it's just an added bonus that it can also launch full power supersonic .308 bullets out of it if need be, and it'll handle them with aplomb.

Try that, 5.56... 😆
