Sounds like the only places making barrels for M1s these days is Criterion. Anyone have a source that is selling NOS Douglas or Krieger or just about anyone else? Not looking for a GI contour barrel, I want a heavy pattern for building a full on service rifle.

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone advertise a heavy M1 barrel in a long while now. Mine was an order from Krieger in 2019 and I waited quite a long time before they ran a batch. Asking on forums like this is probably the best way to dredge one up. Are you doing 30-06 or 308?

I was just on the Krieger website and they didn't have any in stock M1 barrels at all. Although I will admit their website is kind of janky. Maybe I'll give them a call on Monday.
I am not too fond of dealing with SARCO, but they have Citadel M1 barrels which I found to be very good. Currently out of stock.

Just for anyone following this thread. The in stock inventory of M1 barrels at Krieger is all 30-06. They gave me a quote of 10 months for a .308 version.
