I should have scrolled down or did a search I suppose before I posted this.
Seems they are not in business or overwhelmingly busy. Any ideas on what may be the next best thing for a receiver located mount. I do have a scout with the forward picatinny rail but learning toward a mount at the receiver.

 

Unfortunately, while not officially noted by Basset, most here believe they have shut down operations and are no longer in business. Many members here have tried to order from them and/or tried to contact them without success. I have two Bassets , the last one had problems which took many months of email and unanswered phone call to finally resolve. This was March/April of ‘24. Many here would recommend the SADLAK mounts but I can’t speak to it as I don’t own one.

 

Kensight gets a lot of recommendations here also.

 

I checked their address here in Dripping Springs and it is all boarded up.

Last night a Bassett low scope mount with the tool sold for $581 on GunBroker. Absolutely crazy!

 

I should have kept my 2 Bassett mounts. Who would have thought they would have increased more than gold.

I think I will go with using the picatinny rail on the scout with QD Warne rings and see how that works. Thank you for your input here. To bad about Basset seems their products were excellent and very popular.
