With yours being an Inox or a stainless you may have to get it directly from Beretta.

I've got a 92F and 92FS (plus M9) and can't see any difference in the extractor. There was never any reason to modify it that I know of. As to finding one for the stainless/inox versions, good luck. I just did a quick search at Midwest, BerettaUSA, and Numrich with none. A blued one isn't a problem, but not otherwise.

Sure, though it would be a raw carbon steel finish and I'm sure not being shiny forever. You could coat one afterwards with something like Duracoat, or ....

I think the difference between the updated models are in the slide itself.

 

The slide with additional groove cut out for the enlarged hammer pin. Everything else is basically the same though the locking block is 3rd generation now and the new frames are cut a little differently. Also the change out to some polymer parts. Both are great pistols in my opinion. I haven't been hit in the head yet with my apparent time bomb 92F if you ask some people.

The D model is just a double action only model. No difference otherwise in common parts. If it doesn't fit, I'll eat my shorts.
