Anybody know who makes the barrel/mag clamp with bayonet lug? Looks like it might be a original Remington part. If that's been on there since 1969, I doubt if its still in production. Looks useful though.

I've seen the barrel clamp alone sell for $500. 2K for the grouping may find a buyer.
A good metal worker could fashion one pretty easy. Still the cost would be more than the after market solutions out there. Depends on what someone wants.

We had a few of those - or markedly similar guns - in the USAF Security Forces armory when I was working in Qatar. I can't ever recall issuing them; not sure we even had ammo for them. Ours were well worn.

That 'accessory is out there to be found, if you're diligent, or run in the right circles. The going rate for a used one is ~$500 and the cheapest I've seen them is $375.00.

The Corp was still using them in the ME and it's still got those cool and collectible factors going for it, as well.

Not on my 'Needs' list, but should I ever find one at a garage sale for a few measly bucks, I won't leave it there for the next guy.
