Huntinghawk, that is a M1917 Bolo, they were isued in WWI and to a lesser extent some at the beginning of WWII. Being made by Plumb it should have been made in St. Louis, Mo. I've got one like it, but I will say that your scabbard is in better shape than mine.
Thanks Ranger. My grandfather did bring it home from the Phillipines at the end of WWII. I replaced the scabbard about 20 years ago as I had found one is Shotgun News.
