All Sold

I will probably spend the money on gun stuff so I am putting this here.

I have $70 face of 1965-1969 Kennedy half dollars. These contain 40% silver. The following is from www.coinflation.com

Silver Coin Melt Value Calculation
Submitted on November 8, 2010.

Values Entered:

Quantity: 140
Coin Type: 1965-1970 Kennedy Half Dollar
Silver Price: $27.76 / troy ounce

Answer:

Total silver value is $574.77.

Statistics:

» There are 20.7051 troy ounces of silver in 140 silver 1965-1970 Kennedy half dollar(s).

» Each 1965-1970 Kennedy half dollar contains 0.1479 troy ounces of silver and is valued at $4.11 when silver is at $27.76 / oz.

I will sell all of them for $500. This is $3.57 a coin, so under melt value. I will take a MO. I will include shipping and insurance. Contact me through IM.

Melt value?

Is this "melt value" what you would get if you walked them into a dealer to sell or is it what the dealer gets from the metals reclaimer?

The silver is worth that. You decide if they are worth it to you. Dealers will sell at higher than this price most likely.
