My local fun shop has a used Springfield M1A w/National Match Stainless steel barrel for sale. From what I can gather, from speaking to the shop owner, and looking at the rifle, it appears to be a Standard M1A rifle (it has a black synthetic stock) rebarreled with a National Match Stainless steel barrel. The rifle comes with a Springfield scope mount. The asking price is $1,700.00 but the shop owner says to make him an offer, as the rifle has been in the shop for a while. What would be a reasonable price to offer ? What should I be looking for before I make him an offer ? Thanks in advance.

Sounds a little high for a used rifle you could find a NIB for that price.There is a rare preban for sale here in the px well made rifle all USGI parts allso.

i agree that 1700 is too much,i'm am no expert in used prices,but from what i have seen available,1100-1300 tops with a fiberglass
stock.just my opinion....good luck....glock
