Anyone here ever experiment with downloading H/IMR 4895?
Am thinking of trying some 40gr loads with sierra 168's for the ten dot game if I can get my scope squared away...

I have a loaded model M1A that loves 39.0 gr of I4895 w/ a 168 Nosler CC in a LC case. Can't remember velocity and I'm on the road so don't have access to that info. No cycling issues and recoil is mild.

Its been a long time but Mid Thompkins 200yds Offhand load was 38 or 39.0grs IMR-4895 under a 168 at 200yds. But the 10 ring @ 200 is pretty fat, unlike that little dot is @ 100yds.

With that load I would look at any of the 125's.

I like 39 grains of IMR 4895 with 168 Noslers in WRA and LC cases. Functioned fine in both Fulton M14SA and 308 Garand.
