I may be looking to put a nice duracoat camo finish on my M1A loaded. Anyone out there know of a good place to have it done? I would try to do it myself but the look that I am going for I think will require a lot of detail and I may screw it up somewhere along the line...

I was looking at these guys, with this pattern. Ironically it's shown on an M1A. I think it looks pretty killer. I'm definitely going for the desert look with lots of blending.

So anyway, anyone have any experience with a good place to send in my rifle to have it done? Not looking to spend a fortune either. Thanks in advance.

Don't know about anyone who can duracoat it, but there are a lot of people out there who can hydro-dip your rifle using ATACS-AU. It looks extremely similar to the pattern you want. Most prices I see are at $100 for a stock and handguard.

Duracoat ia great stuff.

I did my own and it is tough.

If you have itbdone by a pro and let it sit a few weeks for full cure it will last longer than hydrodip.

I believe you can do clear duracoat over hydrodip though.

Cerakote has good reports but i have not tried it.

Great West Gunsmithing does Dura coat and cera coat. I have a bolt action with him right now being dura coated. I am not sure about camo jobs or not, but I think he can. He does very good work, and is especially good with Mini-14 trigger jobs and other mini-14 stuff. He has a great reputation with many on several different firearms.
