What's it Worth?
I'M LOOKING AT A USED USGI MEDIUM NM SHILEN BARREL WITH A 1-12 TWIST. THE MARKING ON IT ARE " 4 GR 1 12 7 62 MM 6 89 " IT GUAGE AROUND A 1 ON THE BREECHBORE TE GUAGE. ANY IDEA OF WHAT IT'S WORTH? THANKS.........

I would PM either Warbird or Ted Brown and see what they have to say about their barrels. :mrgreen:
to be honest im leary of ANY used NM barrel. If it is used, the chamber has already been cut, and only God knows what your going to get. I would spend the etra on a NEW NM barrel. You also have to ask yourself ANYTIME you buy a Match barrel-- why was it taken off in the first place? Unless it came off a demilled rifle it was most likely taken off for 1 of 2 reasons- The barrel didnt perform as expected, or excess wear (which leads to performance issues obviosly).
Again, 120 is cheap, but it is also a gamble.

Finally went for $142.... Looked good, but I agree; it was probably taken off for a good reason....
