What wrench to remove stock liner?

I am diving into the world of stock refinishing. What sort of wrench is used to turn out the 2-holed screws that hold the metal stock liner?

Stock liner wrench

Easiest way is to get a screwdriver and a dremmel cutting tool and just cut a notch in the front of the screwdriver. The cheapest way I found was to use a screwdriver which has the little hex inserts, that way you can mess up a few inserts cheaply to get it right.

Have fun,

You can by a stock liner screw bit from any of the on-line gun retailers. Fulton sells them, as does Brownell's, etc... I think the Badger Ordnance bits are the most common mfg.
Thanks for the help guys. I figured such an animal existed, but it is nice to have confirmation. I'll see if Brownells has them, since I need to order some other stuff too.
Springfield sells a little thingy called the gadget costs 6.99 and has several screwdriber bits as well as a stock liner tool. it is actually a keychain so you put it on your keychain and you will have it when you go to the range. I have 2 that came with a trade and the little boogers works very well

I've seen two kinds. One is a hex drive insert, you can turn it with a quarter inch socket or nut driver, or any of the screwdriver handles that take the small bits The other is a screwdriver type, with the driver permanently affixed. I have the first type, and will be glad to let you use it, if you promise to send 'er back.
