Having been in the hospital with pneumonia, I get and recommend the pneumonia shots. Not being able to breathe is very unpleasant.
A friend developed shingles, and upon seeing his misery, I got the shot. If you haven't had chicken pox it's N/A.
Uncle Sugar made us get every shot available back in the day and it didn't do a thing to me or anyone else that got them. That includes all the vaccines for plagues you can get overseas. So I don't get the anti-vaccer thing. Polio? Tetanus? Rubella? Pretty much eradicated due to vaccines. They were all still common in my lifetime, and that's barely over half a century. Stopping making vaccines routine resulted in Rubella and Chicken Pox making a comeback. Polio would make a bigger panic than Covid 19.

Recommended CDC shot for when I used to go to China and South East Asia. But, last one was 12 years ago. No vaccines since.
