I recently stumbled on a NIB pre-ban Polytech and I have a few questions:

1. I have an ART II Scope that uses a picitiney (sp?LOL) mount. I'm a military collector (AND shooter) so I would like my scope mount to be as military correct as possible. Actually Viet-Nam like for that scope. I've seen the original style mounts but recently saw the SADLAK mount that appears to be superior but not 1960's-70's looking. I realize historic authenticity and shooting might be at counter-purposes. What would you guys choose?

2. I've heard that all or most screws in a Polytech are metric. True or false? Particularly the scope mount screw?

3. Is there any difference between a Polytech & a Norinco?

I don't know about the Vietnam era mounts. I have a lot of experience with the with the military contract Smith Enterprises mount and have nothing but good things to say about it.
