Going to put a bipod on one of the M14/M1A's, what is the recommendation from the group? Looking at a Harris, any heigth, type recommended?

Agree with HH on what application you plan to use it for. If you just want to sit at the bench every now and then, the benchrest model is lighter, shorter and will adjust high enough for prone if your range grass is mowed. 9"- 13" is also a good universal size, but is high for some benches, perfect for prone though and better for high grass. If you get a Harris, I would get one that swivels. I also prefere the one that the legs extend when you hit the button on the feet. They have notches in the legs that don't slip like the O-ring type.
