A couple of years ago, I bought some bulk Malaysian 7.65 NATO rounds. Never again will I do that again. I think that it was probably designed for use with an M60. But in my rifle, it did not perform well. The accuracy was mediocre at best.

Turkish ZQI 308 ammo... literally grouped like a decent shotgun pattern. All over the 18" target circle.

CBC 168gr "Sniper" Match ammo... lousy groups.

And Remington 22LR... WAY to many duds.

On the flip side, ammo that was fantastic... GGG 2003 147gr Ball ammo, grouped as well as FGMM 168gr out of all my 308/7.62x51 rifles.

Agree^^^ with the turkish ZQ1 7.62x51

Bought 600-700 rounds when it was cheap in the stores. Seemed like a bargain. But, man does it suck accuracy wise. Functions fine but 5-6” groups at 100yds.
Brass is good for reloading. I have new shooters on my rifle use it up as they normally aren’t good enough shooters to know the ammo sucks as their noobs.

Steel cases 5.56/.223... it just doesn’t cycle well in ARs. At least with my luck. I’m not talking about the polymer coated stuff, I mean the matte finished wolf stuff. And its just because of the AR issues. I’ve had luck with 45acp in glocks but that’s about it.

I haven’t fired it myself but while collecting 300 blk out cases from the range I’ve found the Xtreme headstamp 300blk out rounds are super hot blowing out primers …they left live rounds on the ground so I pulled the projectiles & found that the powder is somehow stuck /clustered together meaning I have to break it up to pour it out . This is from multiple trips & not just 1 lot , I wouldn’t trust that ammo

Malaysian FMJ was surprisingly accurate at 300 yards when fired out of my RRA LAR-8.

Not much experience wi new production ammo other than lousy groups in some of the low end 54r Russian (Tula, etc). I've stocked up mostly milsurp over the years.

.30c Aguila - Runs fine but filthy dirty. Have lots. Last in line for use.

8mm Turk surp - brittle brass, loose necks, bolt gun only. HOT !!!

8mm 1950s Yugo surp - hard primers sometimes needing 2nd strike. Popped primers twice in my M76. Bolt gun only.

54r Czech Green Box - supposedly some of the best and coveted (finally found some) milsurp 54r. Decent groups but sticky as hell trying to extract outta my PU Sniper.

54r Albania surp - many split cases after puffs in the face. Read it was pretty dangerous after I burned through it all.

This isn't exactly the same, but...

Ammo that no one will ever fire (let alone buy) is anything I have handloaded. If someone fired something I'd reloaded and wound up with a blown up rifle or an injury, I would not be able to forgive myself. Even if turned out that the cause was a defective rifle/pistol, I would still feel like crap about it.

100 yards out of a Colt 14.5" SOCOM barrel.

I don't seem to have issues with it for bulk ammo. Been buying it forever.
That’s not fair! I swapped my Colt M4 marked le6920’s barrel with a 14.5 Socom heavy too and it shoots everything good! It’s like a cheat code barrel!
