Don't have it but shot them.

Very soft recoiling for a compact 9. Taking it down is completely different than any other pistol I've ever shot. Once you do it a few times though it is easy.

When I shot it the first 3 shots clover leafed at 10 yards. I should have quit there as I shanked the next 3.

The fiancé said she wanted one and after I read up on them I went ahead and ordered one, now maybe I will get my S&W 442 back!

I have a CCP and have put approximately 1,000 rounds through it. The following are issues that I noted with it:
1. Field stripping is a function that you will need to practice on, Walther over engineered the design and therefore tear down is not easy. Putting it back together is not easy either. Practice will make it simpler.
2. Magazines need to be exercised and thoroughly cleaned after each using.
3. Good quality ammunition; Winchester 115 grain fmj, UMC 115 grain fmj and quality self defense ammo will make life easier.
4. Good cleaning after each use.

The negatives being stated, it has fairly light recoil and is an extremely accurate shooter and on a person of above average size (5'10" to 6'+, 180 lbs) is an excellent concealed carry firearm.
Walther offers a very good video on maintenance and there is a Walther user group for the CCP which offers much good information.
Bottom line for me is that I'm glad that I bought it and did not give up on it.

I have one and use it as my carry pistol. It shoots very good for me and like said takes a little practice to break down and put back together. I have shot over 500 round out of it and have never had any problems with mine. I do wish it had a better trigger. I think it carries well in my Alien gear IWB holster. It gets hot when shooting a lot and also because of the recoil system gets very dirty. There are a lot of horror stories out there on this pistol but mine has been great. If you buy one check the serial number and buy one above 20,000. Low serial numbers had problems. If you want to read the horror stories check out the Walther forums.com
