If im on possesion of an original m14 and due to Its old, it has sine rust. If i change parts on it, Will it decrese the value of the gun..?

If you can replace the rusted parts with better conditioned USGI parts, especially all matching parts I would think you would increase the value but probably not enough to pay for the replacement parts. However I am not an expert on the European gun market so let's hope a fellow European comes by soon to shed some light on the subject.

As long as the parts are not pitted you can use copper wool or a copper scrapper and some light oil to remove most of the rust. If you loose some of the original parkerized finish doing this, a little cold blue will touch it up.
