Tarnel, thats one of the best M14 rifles I have seen in a long time. Quality USGI parts coupled with an outstanding receiver and oh my what about that stock!!

Yes sir if it were in the M14 of the year contest, it most certainly would get my vote.

Well done friend!

Thank you gentleman for the kind words. I wouldn't have acquired this rifle if not for this forum. I wouldn't know which parts to pick period! You guys had been helping me identify and authenticate each parts of this rifle, for that, I can not thank you enough.

Special thanks to Forceman for building this M1A for me. Now, I just need to pay him so I can get this rifle off his hands.

Question. Why the difference of stock decals?
The desert camo has two similar decals attached on both sides of the stock. This decals are commonly seen on issued USMC McMillan's stocks (see photos attached) while the forest camo smear stock only have a single decal I never seen before. Later version, maybe?

The reason for your decal being the that way is because it's a combination of two USMC decals combined. The center section was cut out and placed over the std shooting team decal.I looked at yours closely and at some point someone did as I described above
Here is a pic ofv the decal they used to make the center section and overlay on the Std ShootingbTeam decal.
And below that pic is another variation i have on one of my original USMC shooting team smear stocks. As you can see it has both the Rifle and Pistol words on it.I have never seen another one of this version.
