I brought home my new M1A yesterday. I noticed that the trigger group had several HRA stamped parts. I thought all new M1A's came with Spingfield remanufactued parts. Is this noraml with the trigger groups or did I get lucky>

When was the rifle manufactured? Is it new production or just new to you? Did you buy it from a retailer or a private party? I still believe in luck but my 2009 loaded didn't have a single usgi part.

It's brand spanking new out of the box from a local gun dealer. Not too sure on the manufacturing date but the dealer sells alot of them so I know this wasn't on his rack very long

My loaded standard has a HRA hammer.thats the only USGI part on the rifle.the rifle was made in 2009.

Sounds like you got lucky. I have been looking my Scout over since I got it and haven't seen a part that looks like it could be USGI. My trigger group isn't marked at all from what I've seen.
