This video is dedicated to the people who wear the coveted Maroon Beret. They are the Pararescuemen (AFSC 1T2X1) of the United States Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) and Air Combat Command (ACC) operatives tasked with recovery and medical treatment of personnel in humanitarian and combat environments. They are attached to other SOF teams from all branches to conduct other operations as appropriate.

Cool video.

I chuckled when I read the caption about Navy SEALs even needing backup occasionally.

Air Force pararescuemen have my greatest respect.

Thanks!

When I was at Patrick AFB in the 80's one of the guys I worked with who was about to retire was thee most heavy decorated in Airforce history, he was Pararescue.
Try telling him he wasn't military~

I wanted to be a PJ so bad. But my eyesight would not let me.
Don't forget Combat Controllers and TACP.
