Beautiful rifle!

Mine will be here Tuesday of next week. Had to deviate from my socom payments to get a polytech and a LRB so the socom has been on the back burner. Tuesday or Wednesday it will be here and will be getting the same treatment as yours.

I will be taking all of my m14 rifles out for a day at the range on that Thursday! I cant wait.

It looks great - a walnut stock was the first upgrade that I made to my SOCOM. The upgrade will be a Bassett mount for my red dot and a new sling (the one-point idea isn't working for me)

I removed the scout rail and got a brown usgi hand guard from treeline. the rail just gets too hot

Hi all!

Just recently updated my SOCOM 16 as well. As-new Walnut stock from Fred's m14, Black USGI hand-guard, SEI gas block and Short Good Iron Muzzle Brake, and LRBarms taller front sight. I hated the stock sight with how wide it was, and I'm not a fan of the trijicon insert (would get covered up with black soot from the gas system anyways, so it was kinda useless.)

Right now it shoots 6" low @ 50yds with some crummy MEN ammo, and spot on with Federal XM80CL.
