Update on Baby Oliver

HI Gents, hope this finds all happy after the Thanksgiving Holiday!!! Baby Oliver is getting along, had a couple more tubes removed and now is just down to two!!! He is fighting as best he can. The DR's were hoping to have hooked up his eslhofagus to his stomach, but it is not quite close enough yet. They have been feeding him thru his stomach tube like mad trying to get his stomach to stretch and gain a little on that end. Thanx so much for the thoughts and prayers, he is inching forward and at least holding his own on a bad day.johnny

The fact that he has come this far is a testament to his will to live and his parents resolve through this. You are strong people. I wish you all the very best, I wish Young Mr. Oliver all the best. I pray God he has a long, happy life and that you and your wife stay strong.

Good to hear of the progress. I have heard lots of stories about premies' etc. and ones with medical issues like yours, with positive outcomes. I do believe the Good Lord watches over our "little ones".
