Thanks guys!!

I am really happy I was able to get them. They're actually from a fellow forum member here, but I will let him divulge his identity if he chooses to.

They aren't consecutively serial numbered, but that's fine with me. They are about 1000 apart from each other.

The crazy thing was that NICS, which usually takes less than five minutes to clear, took almost three full days to clear. They are so backed up they actually turned off their phone lines and will only receive faxes. Imagine that, three days to get a response from NICS.

Thanks again everyone.......I will be making some decisions soon about which parts kit to build up my first one.

You building yourself JD????? I hope so.
Yes, Sir!!
If you look at my other thread about gages and tools you'll see the receiver wrench that I got from PFC Thomas. I plan on using that wrench along with those other tools and gages to complete the build. I am just waiting on some headspace gages from PT&G now, but that will take a while still.

I think I am going to use that CMP parts kit (all HRA) that I got from a member on the CMP forum and that killer HRA stock I got from you!!

I got a wrench from PFC Thomas too. Nice improvement over the Brownells one. More expensive, but works for both M14 and M1.

Look forward to seeing this gem. You are welcome to borrow any of my tools for accurization and such as you may require. Rasps, stones, die grinder, rheostat, etc. I am really looking forward to seeing this. You understand quality and are a bright guy. I bet you'll make a fine M14 smith. Awesome!!!!!
