I know you will be busy these coming months in high power matches, send them to TX I can put some rounds thru them. My buddy's place by Laredo is wide open I can stretch the rifles' legs. Who knows I may even get a four or two legged Coyote or two with those M25s. It is a shame for such pieces not getting a work out.

I have to try and get them outside, the digital camera went with the wife. She could have taken anything but the guns!
The cats brother sits on the end of the bench when i am working on rifles. I swear sometimes I think he is going to break out with a pen and a pad and start taking notes. That is usually a good indication that I need to get out of the shop and go to bed. He has a field day when I am working the press. His head follows the ram over and over and over. I often wonder if his neck is as tired as my arm.
No more jumping for me! Last jump I went on I broke my back. I am most definitely out of commission.
My good friend Nez, always stepping up to the plate. It was not to far from you, one just got back from Art's. You should have jumped at your chance. Might have been a challenge though, it did not have the bolt internals and the rear sight was not installed . Somehow I bet you would have still shot a 780 or better.

Nice rifles Warren. My fancied up M25 has a Leupold LTR 3.5-10 Iluminated reticle. Just my opinion, but it is the cat's meow for that rifle. I love the JP brake too. Perfect for keeping your eye on the target. Every once in awhile, I put an 8.5-25 Lupold on it, just so I can watch the bullet hole appear on the target.

Gerry I may bs a little red eyed. I flew through the night a couple of days ago and my sleep cycle is all messed up. I'll get a couple of hours and meet you out there. I have a new NM upper I built for the AR and need to get it zeroed. Plan on going black for the last two marches of the winter season just to see what it's like on the dark side and what happens to my scores. No breaks today I promise. I don't want to get beat up! Lol. See you in a couple of hours.
Oh the breaks are not they are 1.2 inches in diameter. Think the rule is 1 inch. I am not competing with them anyway.

Art I'm really leaning toward the night force 3.5x15x50 FFP with an mlr2 reticle. Only problem I need two and they are 2300 each. If I get one this year I will bs happy. I have a leupold ER/T MK4 8.5x25x50 FFP, if it doesn't sell(bx) I am going to send it in to have the turrets switched from 1/4moa to .1rad. They will be able to convert itin about six months. Right now they are inky converting the scopes made in 2011. The mil turrets are new, think they are called the M5 turrets as opposed to the M1 turrets which is what I have. Definitely want to stick with FFP scopes.

Very nice set of twins you have there Warren! Since these are "twins" do they share all the same manufacterer for each part? What are the pieces that make up these babies? Care to share any secrets on settings (trigger setup & chamber lgth) ?

Well lets see Dirtyharry. For the most part the hardware is all GI except for the sadlak pistons, op rod spring guides, both have the sadlak mag release and one has a SEI extended bolt stop. One rifle is comprised of Winchester parts the other is Springfield Armory. Both have Mcmillan M3A Adj stocks and have a JP Tac Comp/Delta P Design gizmo hanging off the end of the barrel. Both barrels are heavy Krieger 1/10 ROT. Both rifles are double lugged LRB M25's, two of six ever made. I stepped in that one, right place at the right time. I guess it helps that I live 40 minutes from the shop. One was bedded by Derrik Martin from Accuracy Speaks in AZ and the other was done by Our very own cactus Comet, Art Luppino. I only got it back yesterday. That particular rifle still needs a NM rear sight and the hand guard needs a little more fitting before I send it off to Mcmillan to be crinkle painted black. HS on both are set up at 1.630 by me and checked using PTG HS gauges. They, as well as all the chambers I gut on my M14 barrels are cut with an Obermeyer .308 Match reamer made by again PTG. That puppy as well as the HS gauges come calibrated and certified. The HS on the reamer had three sign off's before it left the factory. I guess I get impressed easily with stuff like that. One has a L1A2 harris and the other a HBLM-S. I will be getting another one of the HBLM-S one of these days. Sad fact is that since I started shooting service rifle matches, nothing but my SM gets to see the light of day. So only one of them has been shot and I have to say using irons at 100 of the pod I was impressed. It will hold sub MOA, I am hoping the newest one will do the same. We shall see. I can't wait to scope them both. They are sitting opposed to each other in a Pelican 1750 and look pretty cool. I doubt they will still fit when they are scoped. Thanks for askin Dirtharry.
