TRW Trigger

When I the hammer back on my TRW trigger group, to operate the safety I have to push the hammer little further down to operate the safety. I the hammer, and the safety does not move unless I push the hammer down a little bit.

Is this normal? I assume so.

BTW: I dont have a rifle to test it in yet.

The safety should be a little hard to engage.
When you engage the safety, it automaticaly moves the hammer back about ooohhhhh 1/16" to disengage the hammer.
That's just how it works on them rifles.
There may not be anything wrong with it at all.
