Bill,

I have a 1995 SAI rifle with a barrel marked TRW 7790190 4 63 BH. I also have a TRW bolt to go with it. It is a chrome lined barrel.

SAI said that this rifle was a standard rifle. Is there anything about the TRW barrel that makes it more, other than the fact that it is a TRW.

thanks in advance.

Bill,

does the info on the barrel tell anything about when it was made and quality (i.e., standard, match)?

thanks

It is thought and I believe I have read somewhere that TRW barrels are thought to be somewhat more accurate due to the manufacturing methods and tolerances. I have a rifle that is all TRW and have never done any A-B compairsons. However, I can say from past experences from assembling other parts sets that TRW have been for me the easiest to assemble as compaired to other parts sets.
