At an MSRP of 1199 it's not too bad of a price point either. I've always been a fan of these, just didn't know the designation for this carbine.

An interesting offer by Troy.

Used a GAU-5 while stationed at Soesterberg AB, NL. Deployed to ODS/S with a GUU-5/P...GUUs, GAUs, CBUs, BDUs, GBUs, FMUs, SUUs, BLUs... who thinks up these things? Regardless, handy little things but not enough such that I would buy one. Stumbled across the website below looking into this Troy rifle:

Has a good explanation of the process USAF used for small arms.

I wonder if the Bolt carrier has notches for forward assist or if it is smooth? or if the buffer tube only has 2 holes? I would like to see one with triangler handguards in green and green stock and pistol grip.

Per military arms channels video on YouTube, it has only 2, closed and open, yes they're are notches on the bolt for a forward assist. I highly recommend the video
