This weekends RKshow in Kansas City (10-22/23-2016). I picked up 3 Russian SVT-40 10 round mags that were typical Russian refinished ones. These are not the Repro's that are currently being offered. Bargain basement price of $50 each. I had renewed my interest in my SVT-40 (a Finn marked - Kronov arsenal made - non import marked gun) a few weeks back with the purchase of a early two piece leather SVT-38 sling, and these three mags were the icing on the cake. I had a Repro mag, and a Finn marked SVT-38 with it. I seen a Russian reworked SVT-40 rifle there at the show for $1750, and it was rougher than mine. I think someone was fishing.

And a versa-pod bipod with the picatinny rail mount and the raptor feet - Used at about 90% shape. Again at a bargain basement of $25. Neither person knew what they had, as they sold the gun, and kept the accessories to be sold later. 800 tables and that is all that I found.

Guns - Someone was walking a M1A around with a R. Lee Ermey sighed wooden stock, and it was a newer 301, serial number gun. He thought the signature = $$$$ adder and it was just a loaded rifle. No used M1a's, some new ones, a couple of China M14s were there. Well over 1K.
No big rush because of the election. Lots of high cap magazines at this show, with what I considered "normal" prices. That might change by next month.

My latest Military show find.

I would have started a new thread - but its not working tonight.
Not much there for me today, some very minor buys.
But I did pick this up:

An old porcelain range sign (double sided - white on backside)for clearing guns warning/precautions. It measures 4" X 6". This is after I cleaned off the gray paint dots and grunge - spent about an hour with alcohol and an old sock. It was priced at $15 and I got it for $12.
I plan on hanging it with two dog tag chains from the barrel of my Colt 1928 watercooled semi-auto when I display it. Or if I ever make a set of doors for my M-14 work bench I will rivet the sign to one of the doors. The M-14 work bench is below:

The "E2 stock" to the right is for a Hakim rifle that I was toying with that some guy in California made. But there is an E2 stock M1a in the rack (The long sling). I got two more racks like this, that at some point I will mount to the backside of this one (one on top, and one on bottom), but I will have to move it out of the spare bedroom, and down to the basement to do that. I have 33 M1a rifles that I move in, and out of this rack from time to time. The Troy and EBR chassis don't fit into these racks. One of the other racks has an adapter to fit 10 - M1 carbines. I only have 4 M1 carbines. Everything else is in safes.
