These TD rifles have been intriguing me for quite some time. A LGS has one for $750 and I know nothing about them. Would appreciate any buying tips so I don't get boned. My main concern is how to identify a good safe shooter from a retired safe queen non-shooter. I plan on handloading for the 45-70 if I purchase one. Thanks !
