Looked like to me in the parade that the Army/ or Corps had removed the bolts from the ceremonial M1s. I think someone was posting about that yesterday?

I think I saw some in the parade and think I heard 'exective one' fly over the house here 15 min ago; it is raining hard here so I did not go out to look but seldome hear a plane of that size around here

I believe VMI was carrying M14's with bayo's.

Looks like some of the LE officers in DC could benefit from a m14 with a bolt and a full mag.

The Navy reserve unit in the parade was a mix.
The Officers marched with M-14s. They were pointed in more then one direction very sloppy. The blue jackets had M-1s (M-2s). and looked very sharp. Dixie cups all rolled the same and rifles all aligned and uniform.
