I watched The Bedford Incident again last night and was surprised to see Donald Sutherland early on. I don't remember ever noticing him before in it. Anyway, he's one of my favorite actors. Woof woof!

From 1982-85 I commanded a ship of the same class as the Bedford in the Bedford Incident movie - USS COONTZ (DDG40). Best job in the world - Commanding Officer of a US Navy warship at sea - I would go back and do again in a heartbeat.
