I use the TNVC on a SOCOM and the Kydex check rest from Fulton on my M1A. I have had good luck with both

I just got a Bradley right before Christmas, I really like t. Well made, fits a GI stock pretty well too.

I bought a nylon "adjustable" rest a year ago. It wasn't very adjustable, and it wouldn't stay in place. I suggest that you cobble something together from duck tape and some foam scraps to determine how much lift you need.

I'm fairly new in the M14/M1A world, so don't take my word for much. I got a Bradley adjustable for around $112., and I really like it.

Give them a call and he will help you figure out what is best for you. I will be putting one on my XM25. These are all custom made, if you are willing to pay a little additional you can get alternative colors as well.

VooDoo Tactical works for me. Bassett low picatinny with med rings and 40mm scope. It comes with an removable pad that helps adjust the height.
