I held out until the perfect tiger striped stock was available, and it was worth it!

I got some paint for the heat shield and tried to match it as best as I could, but decided a two color feathering type paint scheme looked best.

Anyway, I have it now, and could not be more happy.USNA

So, kids, it is well worth squirreling away your lunch money for what you really want.

Doug Carlton did this stock and it is amazing!

Great looking stock and great finish .... just as one would expect from a real professional.
I am NVUS of people who have great wood working and wood finishing skills --- skills which were handed out on the day I was absent.

Once I put it on and then painted & installed the heat shied, then looked back at it overall, I was wondering about the M14 of the Month.

How does one apply?USN2

Just ask. If he does not have it right then and there, patience and time will have it in your hands.

I fell in love with tiger stripe the first time I saw one on the forum, but had other pressing priorities till now.
