Any body here try one of these things...

It could give a little finer dial in.

Probably shouldn't respond because I don't have one on my M14SA, but I have a Tech sight on my CZ452 and it's killer!
Very high quality devise.
Sorry, gents, but I see that as something that is not needed. You already have a rear sight set on your M-14/M1A that is among the best in the world.

Look at the picture of their M-14 sight shown. It has the old "cone shaped" front sight.

It's a joke gents...it's got to be.

I wouldn't buy one if the sights fell of my M-14!

Wes
There's a reason the M-14 front sight is conical and not rounded. Light on a rounded sight will cause shadow on the opposite side.

As I recall, these came out several years ago, but for the M1 Garand. The only advantage I saw at the time was the ability to swap out an M16 tritium post.

Yep I have one on my JRA para. Read my posts on JRA/Para Archangel thread. I describe the unit and have a couple of photos showing side and top view. Yes the post is .047 at the top, its adjustable for height ala AR and needed if you want a finer sight picture on a barrel length shorter than 22". Works well for me. the appearance takes a little getting used to.
