I have had only positive experiences with Target Sports USA. After California passed a law that required ammo to go through an FFL for a background check, many vendors simply stopped doing business with Californians because of the legal and bureaucratic burden. Target Sports remains the easiest vendor I have dealt with in regards to buying ammo in California since they have a database of FFLs in my area that is accepting ammo. Other ammo sites have required me to call them to place an order and then there's the back and forth between my FFL and them to confirm their information.

I have considered their prime membership but that seems more oriented towards customers who make small ammo purchases over the year. Since I have to take paid leave to pick up ammo due to my preferred FFL's business hours, most of my purchases have been large bulk purchases which already have free shipping.

Give it time, Art. Soon, you'll have to go in person to deal with them.

I loaded up on commercial ammo this past year anticipating things would get harder and harder. Time to start looking for property elsewhere..

@Target Sports USA Looks like you now require NY ammo sales to go to FFL. Can you confirm if that is the case indefinitely?
Yes, that is correct. As of today, the law is in place, and we are abiding by it. There are some people that are trying to challenge the law. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
