Unless they've changed in the past few years, they're some of the worst junk I've seen. I worked in a gun store that sold them. We had an extremely high rate of returns due to failures.

I have a spotting scope made by Swift in 1971. It is just great. I get a lot of compliments. It's only worth about $200.00.
It doesn't get carried through the woods on a rifle though.

Used an "antique" Swift spotting scope (eary '70's) at a long range match once upon a time... was one of the best spotting scopes I've used (as good as a Kowa). However, it's my understanding the Swift scopes of today are very poor. Most likely due to change of ownership and perhaps where they are made these days.
