Good day all I was wondering if anyone has any info on the surefire MB762-213F muzzle break. Like is it able to work with the short gas block? And if it is could you then add the appropriate suppressor? thank you

Not entirely sure but I do know you'll probably have to change the gas block out for one of SEI or Delta P's, and for a suppressor you'd have to use SEI's shorter gas plug, otherwise a regular one will obstruct it most likely. Someone will be along with more accurate details.

As mentioned you would have to use an adapter from either Delta-P or SEI:

Delta P:

SEI:

at the middle of the bottom. P/N 2001V

Also, please note that the Surefire MB762-213F is threaded for .595-32 or rather standard M14 threads and is not compatible with either adapter. Both adapters change the threads to 5/8-24s which is standard for AR-10s and pretty much all other .308 rifles other than FALs.

Here is the correct muzzle brake.

Also note with the SEI unit in order to run a suppressor you would have to use one of their low profile "m14 Socom gas plug" P/N 2079. With the Delta-P adapter you can use your standard gas plug. Overall length will be slightly longer with the Delta-P setup but its not by much.
