I have a Colt bolt stop punch that's cut almost in half, pretty handy for getting the bolt stop out of the M14 action as well. Put Kroil or Liquid wrench on it over night then try again. Comes out front to back.

Roll pin

There was a discussion of this some time back on this forum. Some folks use a Dremel and cut the bolt stop. Ruins the bolt stop by does not damage the receiver.

Use a business card next to the receiver when installing or removing pins.

If you were closer I'd let you use mine. The one from Brownells should work just as good and you should have it in a couple days via USPS. It makes it a lot easier to remove the pin.

You are using a roll pin punch right and not a regular old flat standard punch??? A standard punch may cause the roll pin to collapse on itself. Make sure your roll pin punch size is 3/32 and the pin should be a 3/32 pin 1 inch long...
