I did a bunch of reading and was able to determine what the issues. But I need help fixing it.

SOCOM 16 brand new (Guy bought and never shot it).
50 Rounds 168 Grain .308win.
No Cycle every 5-8 rounds.

Did tilt test at 30* and works great without trigger group. Once installed, the bolt catches coming back last 30% of movement. Also same going forward in same spot (see pictures below).

What I need to fix seems to be the trigger (see picture) catching the bolt. It's only ever so slightly, but enough for binding issues.

Any help? Do I grind (Scary) or adjust?

In the video from a member here, the trigger group was removed for the tilt test. I did not know there was another one to be done with the TG installed.

I watched the video and tried it with the trigger installed. Figured it shouldn't be hanging up but that's why I am asking. Might just be me not researching enough.

After I read your post I decided to try it with the trigger installed. Previously I had only done so without TG. I have a SAI loaded and it would stop travel when tilted to the rear like you mentioned. At that point I could pull it back by hand the rest of the way with very little resistance. Tilting foward there was no interference if I did not pull all the way back.

I see this is only your second post. Watch these videos and you may find what you need is really a matter of cleaning and properly greasing. A couple of hundred rounds to "loosen" your rifle up would be good also.
