This is the "new", ultra-premium version, with trigger lock, two sets of grips, including the cocobolo, pistols from Century's purchase of the former sidearms of the Spanish GUARDIA CIVIL police.

This is by far the best I've seen.

Have found all of these are accurate way beyond what I expected, shooting tighter groups than my son-in-law's heavy Witness match pistol, and far more concealable.

$340.00.

$20 SHI lower 48.

These are around for less, but not in this condition.

Bore gauges perfect. I would be surprised if this had 100 rounds through it.

I am a retired 01 FFL and firearms writer who dabbles in interesting firearms for amusement, but in case you wonder, this is NOT a C&R eligible firearm.

Includes cocobolo grips.

There are about fifty shots on my flickr.com collection, showing this one in great detail. Best way to view is to sign in and one can then enlarge, search, view consecutively, see all the details, and browse for more shots.

I'll try to get some shots in here.

There's lots of information on these around.

Star (the company, that is!!) is gone, but their firearms are still highly desirable and very much in demand.

The lower grades of these can be had for far less, but this one is SUPERB.

Addendum

I've got several of these in my family, and decided to use my recent tax funds release from by DET's to get several more and some oddments of pats and accessories.

Quite aside from selling this specimen, for those who are wondering, these are exceptionally sturdy and accurate all-steel pistols, far more accurate than their price and so on might suggest.

I will probably have left over accessories, and I do have a spare barrel which I am pondering selling.

However, it's getting warmer, and I am shooting more as it gets tolerable, so this may change.

The spare barrel came off the pistol my son-in-law now has. I had a new barrel in my parts stuff, so swapped that out. $65 + SHI.

Yes, this can be done without the cocobolo grips.

However, let me know.

I am asked below about hollow points. Bear in mind, I polish the ramps before I even test fire.

Not with this one, but I ran XTP's in a dozen of the others. Very accurate.

Too expensive for daily paper blasting.

I did dry run XTP in this specimen.

Works fine.

Traded into a set of cocobolo "diamond" grips, blister pack, from Century. Very pretty.

They're set up to remind one of the M1911 "double diamonds". I'll photograph in the packaging if I have to, but to be direct, they look at least as good as the "Cresta" pattern.

$45.00 shipped, if one wants Priority, add another $5.00.

Still have some barrels remaining.
