Read something on ISRA website about a school in Springfield IL teaching about 2nd amendment . This book they were using stated the 2nd amendment was quote: "This amendment states that people have the right to certain weapons, providing that they register them and they have not been in prison,” the handout says.

Does any of guys living down in Springfield have any more info on this? Because this aint what the second amendment says.

Ahh see...the Socialists in charge don't even try to hide their attempt at indoctrinating the future generations of americans. Not only are they teaching our children blatantly false information, they are encouraging dependency on the state and blind submission to its dictates. I'm glad I was homeschooled.

There have been quite a few news articles regarding Common Core and it's deficiencies over the last several weeks. Many people are going so far as to pull their children out of the schools that are endorsing this travesty.
