I've got the 2nd generation (4-14x56mm) on my NM M1A and it's great, with these old eyes of mine. I need it out to the 200 - 600 yard targets anymore.DI5

I'm with Memphis, go out and try it. BTW, those scopes were offered somewhere from the mid to late 90's by SAI. For some reason SAI discontinued them. dozier

I have the 3rd gen 4-14x56 and it has held up after thousands of rounds (knock on wood) I too got it with the "loaded coupons" they had way back in the day.

Good glass, you won't be dissapointed. You can pick them up from time to time at a reasonable price.

Good glass. Bubble level. Low profile. Discontinued - I believe there were some patent issues.
