Pulled out this old Springfield 87A that belonged to my Wife's dad . Hasn't been touched in decades .Did a deep clean on it in prep for test firing soon.
Pretty neat design ,kinda resembles WW2 open bolt SMG
Would probably make a good M14 trainer.
The factory made an M1 trainer.

One of the interesting designs is .22 LR its semi auto . To shoot shorts or longs ,you push bolt in to lock action for single shot .
